Who is The Business Guild? We are you.

We are a community of business owners and managers who are tired of the status quo.

  • We're tired of fighting Google and Facebook's changing algorithms to reach our target audiences
  • We're tired of meat-market networking events where people toss out a business card and expect magic to happen
  • We're tired of spending money on things that don't help us grow our businesses

Our motto is Promote - Connect - Succeed and all of our platforms and programs are designed to help you do that.

There is a reason PROMOTE is the first word of our motto...

We get it. Marketing is a confusing science that incorporates human behavior, data science, and a million other fiddly bits that only make sense to marketing people.

If that isn't enough to send the average business owner into overwhelm, all that confusion gets compounded when you're bombarded with constant reminders from almost every social media platform that you have to promote, promote, promote all the time. The good news is that we've got you covered.

While platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn are about making noise, we create opportunities for engagement and collaboration.

This is where The Business Guild shines.

  • Networking
  • Events
  • Mastermind Groups
  • Online Groups & Forums
  • We're not social media. Our entire membership model is built on the idea of creating strong relationships with customers, competitors, and other professional business connections.

Pat Hammond

I always have to stop and think when someone asks what I do. Between you and me, there are days when I'd like to say "everything," but that sounds kind of snarky and disingenuous. Plus, it's not really accurate. I'm not a rocket scientist, doctor, or a lawyer. I don't know how to play an instrument or install an electrical panel, though I did once rewire the lights on my truck. What I am is an entrepreneur and professional networker.

Lisa J. Jackson, MBA, MA

Who am I and how can I serve you? The short answer is I’m a professional writer, editor, and people connector. I’ve been helping people find who they need to connect with since I was a young girl. In the business world I’ve gotten to know a lot of people at all levels of companies, so when I hear someone say, “I really need to find someone to help me with ……” I generally have a name or two to share.
